The Blacks - Adrenalin Single presentation

After Teye Bark's adventures with ODNT (which included former Wild Romance drummer Peter Walrecht), he decided he wanted to strike 1 more time with the best musicians he could get. The drummer was quickly found... Jip Noest was the solid grooving machine that Teye had already successfully performed with 4 x at the Braakland festival in Ouwe-Syl as Doe Maar, ZZ Top, Sex Pistols and Golden Earring. Now the perfect funky rocking guitarist had yet to be found... It was decided to start a long series of auditions to give several guitarists a chance. Audition number 1 was with Teije Sikkema. And sometimes in band life you have that moment when right away everything falls into place. Why auditions? This was the perfect guitarist for The Blacks; grooving, ripping, rocking and also capable of playing backing vocals together with Jip. The Blacks were complete. Three rock veterans who always go full steam ahead.

The Blacks. Original music Groove & Rock. The Blacks continue in the northern tradition of legendary bands like Herman Brood, The New Adventures and Sweet d'Buster.

The first try-out at the ORKZ was excellently received and in Sander de Groot's Warffum studio the first single "Adrenalin" was immediately recorded and will be released on vinyl around November 2025.

Live, the band has a unique light show and stage dressing that also comes into its own in small venues. In other words, a must-see for all diehards who still love "Northern Rock".

MR.DJD RECORDS Is an independent record label that charts its own course in the Dutch music industry.

Founded to support talented bands from the alternative circuit.

MR.DJD also known as Del van der Linden started in the province of Zeeland as an SKA DJ in the 1990s. He provided an upbeat positive atmosphere with his choice of music and was therefore often asked as support act at various ska concerts in the Netherlands and abroad. MR.DJD got good contacts with various musicians, also from other music styles.

From 1 of these contacts came the idea of setting up a record label, partly because MR.DJD is a great music lover and owns a large collection of vinyl LPs himself.

As we look to the future, anno 2025, the time has finally come. Sunday afternoon, 2 November at 15:00 in Vlissingen at podium De Piek, the first 45-rpm single will be presented by MR.DJD RECORDS.

With a lot of passion for music, you can meet THE BLACKS. An upcoming Dutch grooving rock band that deserves all the attention and fits the objective of MR.DJD RECORDS.
