Black Sabbath: The End of The End

On 22 July 2025, music legend Ozzy Osbourne died. Ozzy was the lead singer of the legendary heavy metal band Black Sabbath. The original band members had still gathered in early July 2025 to perform some songs with Ozzy at the Back to the Beginning concert in Birmingham.

On 4 February 2017, Black Sabbath gave its proper farewell concert, at a sold-out Genting Arena - also in hometown Birmingham. There, 'The Prince of Darkness' was still alive and kicking on stage, filmed by Dick Carruthers in his concert film Black Sabbath: The End (2017).

Carruthers has made concert films of performances by Led Zappelin, The Killers, The Rolling Stones and The Black Eyed Peas, among others. In Black Sabbath: The End, he not only captures the phenomenal farewell concert, but also takes viewers behind the scenes for exclusive interviews with all the band members and an insight into their personal lives.
