Tarzan & the Beachwaiters originated on the Zeeland coast in 2019 and grew into a band that knows exactly how to loosen up a venue. They play surf punk and alternative rock with speed, volume and a good dose of chaos. Their performances rarely go according to plan: the tempo is high, the sound is open and before you know it, inflatable animals are flying through the room. Meanwhile, the set just thunders on, with tracks like Surf Punx, Heavy Metal Trashcan and Tarzan From the Sea keeping up the pace.

 

SEARCHHETUITMAN - protest punk

SEARCHHETUITMAN is a protest punk band with little interest in nuance. The songs are fast, loud and focused on everything they think is wrong. No detours and no packaged message. What they want to say, they just say. This is reflected in a sound that is played tight and direct. Songs like Housing Emergency, Gooi de Grenzen Open and De Fik Erin immediately set the tone, while tracks like AIVD, PFAS and The Pyramid of Violence show what the band is up against.

CESAR SUN brings a heavier layer to the evening with their psychedelic punk . Three men, lots of sound and a style that revolves around tension and build-up. The band slowly pulls their songs tight and then lets them loose, with riffs that stick and a sound that pushes further and further. On recent releases like Paradies, Tunacan and Where Is The Wine? you can clearly hear that line. Their debut The Palace and earlier work such as The ASHTRAY Tapes form the foundation, but live it only gains real weight.
