Hippies & Cowboys (USA)

Hippies And Cowboys is a rock 'n' soul band formed in Nashville, Tennessee. The band brings back a touch of southern rock, blues and soul. Inspiration comes from artists such as Sam & Dave, The Blues Brothers, Booker T & The MGs, Otis Redding and Marvin Gaye, as well as Aerosmith, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Eagles, The Beatles, Tom Petty, The Rolling Stones and CCR.

The first songs were recorded in the iconic studios of Muscle Shoals, Alabama: Fame, East Avalon and Noise Block. This music was captured on the album Live At Fox & Locke and released on vinyl in October 2023.

The band met later that same year at the Purple House studio in Lieper's Fork, Tennessee. From those sessions came their first studio release, a six-song EP called Fork In The Road, released on 27 September.
